Hard to believe that another year has passed by since Scott Krix attended the 2010 Sound & Image Awards night in Sydney.
I last attended the gala event back in 2008 and I am pleased to report that Krix was well supported again this year picking up 3 awards. The Acoustix / Graphix & Seismix 3 mk5 won Home Cinema Speaker System of the Year in the $3000 - $6000 category.

Judges Comments: - "Krix’s perfectly-matched speaker system presented a seamless sonic picture and excelled at delivering detail and dynamics, along with a solid low-end thanks to the great subwoofer here."
Krix was also recognised with 2 Highly Commended Awards - the Acoustix, in the Stereo Speaker of the Year under $4000 category and the Volcanix in the Subwoofer of the Year over $2000 category.
Judges Comments: - "It’s rare that speakers recognised for their home cinema performance also achieve greatness in the stereo music category. That the Acoustix achieve this is testament to its neutrality of tone, the detailed midrange and treble, and an ability to unravel complex mixes with or without subwoofer support."

Judges Comments: - "This subwoofer proved a stunning performer across both music and movies, with a deep tuneful bass and oodles of oomph, plus intuitive software-based controls."
