Blog

Welcome!

If you are reading this you are aware that we have finally released our new web site - at last! It's been a long time coming I know, but that's what happens when you are busy designing and manufacturing commercial and domestic loudspeakers. As you can see we have lots of information, product info, reviews, and even this blog.

I have to confess that I am probably the last person qualified to be writing this blog, and not because of my lack of knowledge of loudspeakers and sound, but because I am computer illiterate. I am also unsure where this will all head, but I guess that's always the fun part, right? Part of my apprehension is the fact that I have only recently been dragged into digital age (a term I am pretty much over now). Apart from the term "digital" being over used, what exactly has the digital age done for me? Well, I can now watch TV and search the 'net on my fridge. And how exciting is that? I may find it difficult to find time for that while I am in the kitchen as I am normally cooking, but maybe I don't have enough time for that now anyway. Then there is digital (compressed portable) music. I probably don't need to comment on that one, but the good news is that storage is becoming larger so hopefully the whole compression trend will cease. Of course if I get sick of listening to compressed music (which shouldn't take long) I can always catch up with what' happening on Big Brother on my mobile - apparently. I can search the web from here too, download my emails (which is lucky as I don't actually talk to anyone anymore, unless you count email or MSN) or send a photo of myself, just so my friends remember what I look like. Well at least I have this blog...which unlike the digital age, should allow me some time for free thought which I hope to share with you. Rest assured it won't always be like this though. Anyhoo, I gotta go. It's time to meet with some friends, open a beer or two and dig through some vinyl and listen to some real music....

Well its time for a long one... post that is. I must start these ramblings by being just a tiny bit patriotic. How good is it to see an Aussie company - a truly Aussie company - flourish in this volatile market, often fraught with crap . Not that I'm saying everything out there is crap, but some of it leaves a lot to be desired... sometimes more than a lot. My dealings with Krix as a company have been as pleasant as it has been to listen to their honestly amazing products. As a retailer it gives me superb faith to put my name, and my beliefs in a product that does exactly what I tell my customers it does, every single time. I have been dealing with Krix since late 2005 and the Hi-Fi industry for the same period. Of the numerous brands, companies and industries I have dealt with, I am yet to discover a more open bunch than the guys at Krix. End of the day, my ramblings here are heading towards the confidence I get recomMending Krix to my many customers, and the reward I get from their satisfaction. I first encountered Krix in my home town of Cairns at Targa Hi-Fi, and became the number one retailer of Neuphonix Loudspeaker within a short time. I am now in my new home of Bunbury at Bunbury Hi-fi (hence the post name) and wish to convey my enthusiasm for such a competitive and accomplished brand here also. It was ultimately the boys at Krix that provided this opportunity, so I guess in a way if I haven't said so already, thanks guys. I'm a bit stuck for a way to end this little suck up session, as it has turned out to be, but hopefully I have instilled some confidence in any prospective hi-fi owners. Regards Jon, Bunbury Hi-Fi

Congrats on the new site, I love it. But not as much as I love my Krix speakers. I recently purchased my first set of "real" speakers for my Home Theater, and I am blown away by the performance of my system comprising Lyrix Gold mains, KDX-C center, Equinox surrounds and Seismix 3 sub. Good to see an Australian company competing, and winning, against the best the world has to offer.

Hey mate, as I've said, the site looks amazing, up to the standard of the products :) ( bit of a Merv Hughes, for the 12th man fans) a good resource, look forward to selling some more Neuphonix for you in my new home. Jon, Bunbury Hi-Fi #1 Neuphonix man :)
