The KX-1155 cinema surround loudspeaker offers very high power handling and sensitivity for the most demanding applications in the largest cinema auditoriums. Featuring a true horn loaded high frequency section this unique surround loudspeaker has been specifically developed to meet the high output level requirement of the Dolby® Atmos™ surround sound format.

To produce high output and low distortion a patented constant directivity high frequency horn is employed coupled with an extended response 1 ¾ inch diameter voice coil compression driver. This is supplemented by dual high power 15 inch bass drivers with 3 inch voice coils, features dual aluminium shorting rings for low harmonic distortion to deliver superior surround sound resolution. The curvilinear paper cone and surround of the bass drivers have also been developed to provide the smoothest possible response.
