“With the Epicentrix wired in, you’ll hear the soundtrack leap out, loud and dynamic, and you’ll realise that you’re in for the finest movie sound experience of your life”
Silky-smooth highs which have the kind of ‘air’ around the high-frequencies that you usually hear only from high-end stereo hi-fi speakers. But good though the treble sound was, the midrange was at the same high performance level, a level that’s essential for the correct reproduction not only of singing, but also of the spoken voice.
Tonal quality is excellent with real weight and a natural timbre given to speech, while the front soundstage created between Neuphonix and Epicentrix is vast, but it all comes together with amazing sonic uniformity.
For the ultimate movie experience, you need the ultimate centre channel speaker. Featuring the same complement of drivers and refined style of its floorstanding sibling, the Epicentrix Mk2 impressed the judges with a seamless soundstage of crystal-clear dialogue and enveloping effects.
