New (optional) tool for Australian Dealers
Krix is currently trialling SPARK (SalesProposal Activation Resource Kit), a home cinema design and proposal program developed by Kolosseum.
SPARK gives audio-visual integrators access to a faster, polished way to present high-value home cinema projects, while remaining a completely opt-in service for dealers who choose to utilise it.
SPARK is not intended to replace a dealer’s expertise or existing workflow. Instead, it functions as a design acceleration and proposal enhancement tool, helping dealers reclaim time, elevate presentation quality and guide clients more confidently through system selection and upgrade paths.
Why SPARK for Krix dealers
Designing a home cinema proposal often requires juggling multiple software platforms, producing drawings and refining layouts. SPARK consolidates this work into a single, professional output, delivered entirely under the dealer’s own brand, using the client’s selected Krix home cinema loudspeakers (and other chosen electronics).
KEY DEALER BENEFITS
- Significant time savings: SPARK reduces the internal workload associated with proposal preparation:
- No need to build drawings, renders or layouts from scratch
- Reduced back-and-forth explaining concepts to clients
- Faster proposal turnaround, particularly for premium home cinema projects
This allows dealers to spend more time selling, consulting and delivering projects.
- Structured upgrade paths: SPARK allows dealers to clearly present tiered home cinema options to clients with performance improvements and cost justification.
Dealers can also visually compare different system approaches, such as:
- Series MX front-wall systems vs on-wall, in-wall or free-standing solutions
- Different screen sizes or speaker configurations
This turns complex technical decisions into clear, visual conversations.

- Client engagement before commitment: SPARK home cinema proposals include:
- Photorealistic 3D renders of the client’s actual room
- Professional lighting, finishes and product placement
- 360-degree virtual room exploration on desktop, tablet and mobile
Clients can emotionally connect with the home cinema early in the process, building excitement and buy-in.
- Performance-led design justification: Each SPARK home cinema design is supported by informed technical documentation, including:
- Layout specifications and speaker alignment
- SPL coverage modelling
- Room and speaker performance metrics
This enables dealers to confidently justify design decisions to clients, architects, builders and consultants.
- Clear differentiation for dealers: SPARK enables dealers to present home cinema proposals at an architectural and engineering level that few competitors can match.
- Fully dealer-branded proposals (dealer logo only)
- No Kolosseum, SPARK or Krix logos in client documents

SPARK product levels and AUD RRP
SPARK is offered in four structured levels, aligned to home cinema project scale and performance goals:
- Level 1. Entry-level dedicated home cinema projects $40k–$70k
RRP AUD$2,199 - Level 2. Mid-tier performance home cinema $70k–$100k
RRP AUD$3,299 - Level 3. High-end private home cinema typically $100k–$150k
RRP AUD$4,499 - Level 4 (RP XXII). Reference-grade flagship home cinema $150k+
RRP AUD$9,999
Dealer pricing support and profit opportunity
To support dealer participation:
- Krix subsidises 30% of the wholesale price where Krix speakers are specified
- Kolosseum absorbs a 10%
- Dealers pay 60% of the wholesale price
(Wholesale pricing available via the Dealer Portal)
This results in:
- Lower proposal and design costs for Krix-specified home cinema projects
- Profit potential of up to $5,300+ per SPARK package when charging RRP to end users
SPARK is designed to function as both a sales enablement tool and a revenue opportunity.
Bring your own drawing (BYOD) – Reduce costs further
Dealers who already have home cinema drawings, SketchUp files or vendor-supplied layouts can use these as a starting point within SPARK.
BYOD benefits include:
- Refinement of early concepts into construction-ready, dimensioned home cinema proposals
- Reduced design effort, creating potential cost savings
- Faster delivery timelines
The goal is not to redo existing work, but to elevate it for client engagement and builder use.
Dealers with existing drawings should contact Kolosseum directly to discuss potential discount pricing.

How the SPARK workflow works
- Dealer sells the SPARK home cinema design package to the end user
- Dealer completes the SPARK onboarding form, including:
- Room dimensions and construction details
- Speaker, projector, screen and electronics selections
- Any special requirements or constraints
- Preliminary watermarked proposal delivered to dealer
- Minor revisions applied if required
- Final non-watermarked, dealer-branded package delivered to dealer
- Dealer presents the proposal to the client
Delivery timelines depend on:
- The level of information provided upfront
- The SPARK package selected
- Overall project size and complexity
Why Krix is trialling SPARK
Krix is trialling SPARK to assess how it can support dealers in:
- Reducing internal design workload
- Increasing average project value
- Presenting home cinema proposals with clarity and confidence
Participation in SPARK is entirely optional, and dealers can choose when and how to use the service. SPARK is designed to amplify existing dealer capability, allowing integrators to focus on clients, solutions and delivery.
